Tybee Island Ocean Skills Week

Join us for 6 amazing days on one of the most unique islands on the east coast.  Tybee Island Ocean Skills Week takes full advantage of all Tybee has to offer paddlers.  We will play and learn on her great surf beaches, back bays full of wildlife, and the world famous “Triangle” tidal race.

When winter is licking at the midwest’s doorstep, Georgia is still boasting warm water,  fair weather and no crowds.  Coaching sessions will take best advantage of whatever conditions the Atlantic throws at us.  With access to protected water as well as waves and the tide races around the island, we’ll always have something to meet the challenge you are looking for.

The house is available after 4:00 on the 29th.  We’ll have a group meeting and dinner (we usually all chip in for pizza) at 7PM.  Last day of paddling is the 4th.

We can also include an ACA Level 3 or Level 4 Skills Assessment as part of the week.

6 days of coaching with great fresh home cooked food and double occupancy lodging in our rental house.

Meals include breakfast and lunch from Sunday through Friday.  We’ll eat at local restaurants 3 nights including the first Saturday, Friday and one other midweek night (not included in trip price) Dinners will be at the house all other nights.

If you want to fly into Savannah airport, we can arrange to pick you up Saturday afternoon and drop you off Saturday morning or Friday evening for your return flight.  We can transport your kayak round trip from Lansing, MI for $100.00
