Build your skills in real-life conditions with multiple days of low-ratio coaching. Take full advantage of all Tybee has to offer paddlers. We will play and learn on her great surf beaches, back bays full of wildlife, and the world-famous “Triangle” tidal race.
SKILL DEVELOPMENT
Our low student-coach ratios allow us to embrace the environment offering challenges that are accessible and fun. Some skills we might focus on include, boat handling in conditions, tidal planning, tide race paddling, surfing, core stroke refinement, leadership, and rescues.

We will play and learn on great surf beaches, back bays full of wildlife, and the world-famous “Triangle” tidal race. Coaching sessions will take the best advantage of whatever conditions the Atlantic throws at us. With access to protected water as well as waves and the tide races around the island, we’ll always have something to meet the challenge you are looking for.
Double occupancy lodging, breakfast, lunches and some dinners will be provided. Boat transportation can be arranged for an additional cost.
What to Expect
Lodging check-in is on Saturday and check-out is on the the following Saturday. We’ll have a group meeting on the first night with dinner (we usually all chip in for pizza) at 7 pm. Sunday – Friday consist of coaching based on weather and group desires. Sunday – Friday, breakfast at the house will be provided and lunch supplies will be available for you to pack and bring on the water. Home-cooked dinners by Trey are included. We will eat out at local restaurants on 3 of the nights which are not included.
Kayak transportation from Lansing, MI is available for a fee.
