whitewater kayaking on the Youghiogheny river

August 11th – 13th | $550

This skills development course is designed for paddlers looking to build solid river running and safety abilities. August 11 will be a warm up day on the river (slip). Stony dam release on 12th and 13th.  This trip includes 3 river days, 2 nights lodging and dinner on Saturday.

What to Expect

We will determine which section of the river to run based on current conditions and our group’s goals and desired learning experience.  With low-ratio professional coaching, we will have the opportunity to structure sessions that are reflective of the group.  We stay together in double occupancy lodging in a house with dinner on Saturday provided.

As the trip gets closer keep an eye out for an email with more specifics and a waiver. Any questions can be sent to info@thepowerofwater.net
