The Power of Water, Michigan’s leading multi-discipline paddling school is based out of our retail store in downtown Lansing, MI. We are located on the Grand River with easy access to the river for demoing sea kayaks, whitewater kayaks, canoes and stand up paddleboards (SUP). We sell new and used boats and boards. We are also proud to offer paddle gear and accessories.

We have carefully selected these brands of kayaks for our customers to offer a wide range of paddler interests, skill, and environments.
SUPs
We are pleased to offer boards for sale by NRS Inflatables. These boards offer a great opportunity to get out on the water and try touring or fitness paddling. Contact us for a SUP lesson or demo.
CANOES
We are pleased to offer a variety of Wenonah Canoes for sale. We currently stock a number of tandem and solo touring, fishing, and river-running canoe models.
Repairs
Contact us at info@thepowerofwater.net with your boat and gear repair needs. We can help with just about anything, gaskets, fiberglass, keel strips, plastic welding, deck lines, seats, bungies, paddles, and more. We can also help outfit or adjust your gear and boat.Â
